It’s available on CDBaby, and will be on iTunes very soon, so stay tuned for that info. The actual cd is really cool, though… There’s a lyric book inside, and I hand wrote the liner notes/credits. I’m working on getting it into a store near you.
Going to WTTW last night was one of the coolest things ever. Phil Ponce is a really awesome host/interviewer… I got to play and sing two songs on the piano, and I can’t wait to see it tonight!!! It airs at around 7:40, so be sure to check it out. Regardless, I’ll have a copy, so I’ll put in on YouTube or something. I can’t wait until I can perform with my band on ABC on the 12th @ 11:30!!!
Tonight is the first of the two CD release shows, and I think the crowd is going to be HUGE, ‘cause I’ve been doing tons of interviews/getting a lot of press:
Metro Mix
Daily Herald
Chicago Tribune
Kane County Chronicle
The Deli Magazine
If you cannot attend either show (shame on you. Just kidding!) I will be have footage of the Thursday’s show @ Subterranean to post around the internet. I will also be recording the audio, so there might be some crude bootleg action circulating around.
Let’s do this.

You probably don’t recognize my name…I’m Muriel Carlson’s daughter. Mom passed on March 1st. She was one of your Grandmother’s BEST friends. They are truly soul-mates. Donna is so proud of you and loves you so-o-o much.
I have to add that I am so sorry for, and can relate to, all of your family’s heart-aches. On a more positive note, I saw you on channel 11 a couple of weeks ago. (I also watched you on “American Idol” and almost burned up my phone voting for you!
) You are very talented…and I got a kick out of you singing at the piano with your future child on camera…congratulations!!!
If possible, could you please put me on your mailing list to let me know of your Chicago area “gigs”...I would love to hear and see you in person.
The website that I included is my work site. (I love my job!)
Take care, Cathy
