Reflections/Anticipations!

Guys, I’m way giddy about today’s WGN Midday News performance. It’s by far the biggest thing I’ve done since American Idol, and I can’t wait to show people what’s up with this crazy little season six semi-finalist. It’ll be sweet to share my music with an estimated 200,000 viewers, and rock out in people’s living rooms, or wherever the heck else people watch TV.
Let me just say that last night’s show at the Tonic Room was so awesome for me. It was all about the music, and the crowd was dancing so hard (Hell yeah, ladies!) If I could play shows like that for the rest of my days, I’d be a happy camper. Of course, the idea is that they keep getting bigger and better, but vibe-wise, last night was spot on. I feel so lucky to be connected to such musical ninjas… I am seriously playing with Chicago’s finest, hottest, hardest working “cats” (haha) and the best part of it is… We’re a band. The vibe isn’t “Leslie and the Hired Guns” at ALL. They bring innovative ideas to the table, and they bring my music to a level that it otherwise wouldn’t necessarily achieve.
That’s about it. Moral of the story = It’s all about the music.
