Welcome to my new site!

Hello, and welcome to my new website! Thanks for stopping by! Can I get you something to drink? I have always longed to have a colorful, clean online hang-out area to have friends over, swap stories, but above all else, to be the mothership of all things ME. I hope you enjoy poking around.
On the right, you’ll see my most recent “tweet”. Above that, you can buy my record, and below that, you can buy t-shirts (and, eventually, other merchandise). You should totally join my mailing list as well, so I can whisper sweet nothings into your inbox, and keep you in the Leslie loop. Click on the little social networking buttons, too, in case you’re a facebook purist or something.
What you’re looking at here is something I like to call a “blog”, and I will be updating it often, ‘cause blogging is FUN when there are things to report! To bring you up to speed, my record comes out August 4th, and I have two huge CD release shows planned for August 5th & 6th. Exciting, huh. I got married to a super star electronic musician, and our Chicago apartment is a thumpy techno wonderland, due to his persistent music making lifestyle. I’m 8 months pregnant with a baby girl named Eliza Joni, and let me just tell you, she has either been on stage or in the studio non-stop since she was first conceived.
Instead of slowing down, like most pregnant women I tend to meet, I started going at it like gangbusters. I have crammed the months and months worth of dedication, preparation and innovation needed to release a record with *some* sort of fanfare into ONE month. Hopefully word will spread like an organic, free-range fireball, catching people’s hair on fire across the land.
Well, that’s it for now. I’m going to walk Maya over to Rechless Records, with a fist full of CDs where I hope they’ll be down with selling it. Support local music stores!!!
xoxo

AWESOME New site Leslie. When it went poof today I freaked out a little. It’s awesome. I’m loving the links and all the fun stuff! You may want to have someone redo the “Music” tab. Because there is a problem I foresee there. Anyway good luck with all the CD goings and I can’t wait for more updates.
