These past seven days went by surprisingly fast. I can’t believe we just played seven shows in a row and I’m still raring to go. We ended up so tight by the time RoSfest came around, and so energized by the experience of meeting so many fantastic people, that I can actually say that today’s performance might have been THE highlight of my life in this band, and maybe even of my life as a singer. The sound was insane, the theater was gorgeous, the people were jamming out in their seats and standing after songs… I’m still mentally pinching myself.

Upon request, I signed my duct tape shirt and gave it to Mike from Orion to put on display in the studio somewhere. I felt like such a big deal, considering I had to cut it off and it was crazy sweaty. (afterthought : Mike had second thoughts about the keeping/displaying of the duct tape shirt, saying it was too pervy. I thought it was awesome…)

Agents of Mercy… sigh. Awesome people, killing musicians, gut wrenching composers, mesmerizing performers. I was transfixed by the end, as everything had grown on me so much, and I learned volumes watching them hold the audience with their rock-star swagger and showmanship, as well as their kickass music. We felt honored to be on tour with them, and are looking forward to the possibility of going to Europe! This is not goodbye.
